1st International Conference on Applications of Air Quality in Science and Enginnering (ICAAQSE) was organized on 10-12 February 2020. In the conference, which was supported by Kuwait Instiute for Scientific REsearch (KISR), topics were mainly included air quality modeling, aerosols and particles, monitoring and measurements of air pollutants, personal exposure to indoor and outdoor air pollution.

During this 3-day conferece, a talk was presented from Assoc. Prof. Hakki Baltaci with "High-PM10 concentrations and respiratory diseases in Canakkale, Turkey" title.

Enhancing adaptation to climate change project started in Ankara, Turkey on 26 February 2020. The project, which aims to increase social resiliance through strengthening adaptation to climate change, focuses especially in the sector and city scale

A "grant program to implement adaptation actions to adapt to climate change", project, which will provide policy, technical and functional reference lines developing plans to create a favorable environment for adaptation to climate change in Turkey. From our Institute, Prof. Dr. M. Salim Oncel was attended this workshop.
